Science Bound

IPRT supports and administers the Science Bound program, which aims to increase the number of diverse Iowans who pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Science Bowl

IPRT supports the Ames Laboratory/Iowa State University Science Bowls , which offers high school and middle school students from throughout Iowa an opportunity to test their scientific knowledge.

NDE Education

IPRT offers a four-hour seminar that introduces nondestructive and the six most common NDE methods. The Seminar covers the principles, common applications and the strengths and limitations of each technique. Hands-on demonstrations are included using the IPRT’s portable equipment. The seminar can be delivered free of charge at any location within the state of Iowa. Continuing education credit is available for this seminar.
